Went to a few boutique stores today in the loop :)
Found a new favorite place to shop, Pitaya ( http://www.pitaya.com/index.cfm ). They had a bunch of cute stuff for reasonable prices! I was so excited!!! I got this adorable dress for spring that I cant wait to wear. Definitely my favorite buy of today. Also, found a fedora that I have been wanting for a long time and got a little white dress. All in all a great day for boutique shopping, finished with amazing greek food at MoMos! If you love greek food like, me try out this place!
I'm so excited to start building up my wardrobe with things that are as unique as me & that no one else has! I do have to say I was kind of bummed about the shoe selection at most of the boutiques. To be honest, besides Sole there really wasnt a selection to choose from.
My Aunt has let me borrow her book, The One Hundred by Nina Garcia, which is a guide for stylish women and I'm thrilled to see what suggestions it has for my wardrobe. Yay Yay Yay!
the logical, illogical, funny, random, questionable thoughts running through my head at any moment that cant stay contained in my noggin anymore

Want vs Price
I have started to realize that as I have more money in my bank account I am willing to spend more money on the things I want = looking at more expensive brands. I have a few things that I want, actually REALLY want, but they are expensive. And not just a bit more than i would normally pay, but as in a lot more than i would normally pay. And in my head that price jump is for no good reason. (mainly i think it is because it is a "name brand") so I can not justify spending that much money for a dress or purse. But this does not change that I still want these items.
Item #1 : Coach Purse: Madison #15935 - Cobalt Blue ( https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkpYgo6lZVGKSJunOtRsVtZjLgFT53UoAVdmt7FIkfo8Vuvl7ckn7y2nhWp1P7jjUmLWFbVNHeyHrP9c4DNICLxzEfWxd7BN488-J-jDriP-X58VU0AaydZMw7P5ALvUpPcVxuTULqK9yc/s1600/15935.png )
Item #2: Coach Purse: Kristin Leather Pleated - Emerald ( http://www.topbagsoutletstore.com/images/COACH/KRISTIN%20LEATHER%20SATCHEL%20dr5.jpg )
Item #3: BcBg : Satin Contrast Cocktail Dress ( http://bcbg.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pBCBG1-7444937dt.jpg )
---Also, I keep trying to find designers of clothes, jewelry, and accessories that not everyone and their brother knows about so I can build up my wardrobe.... but its proving to be a bit difficult. If you know of any and would love to share- i would be grateful :)

Long Weekend...
So friday night was the time I have ever "hosted" any thing and I have to say it went well! Made snacks, that were gone by the end of the night (i will take that as a "those were delicious snacks") and everyone seemed to have a good night while drinking and playing games. Over all I would say it was a SUCCESS!!! Yay! :)
I have officially started my financial planning and have started decreasing my debt. (Yuck, to debt and school loans!) I have a goal of 3 years to be debt free! I realize that it is a bit aggressive since I will also be saving money at the same time, but I hate the idea that I owe money to people. So, pretty much my paychecks for the next few years will just be going to my debt... aka i will not have any extra money. Egh, and I thought that once I got out of college I wouldnt be poor anymore. lol.
I have to say that the last couple of times I have been to the mall, I havent really found anything cute that I really wanted to buy. Which is slightly weird for me, since I love shopping. But I have realized that I believe this is due to my desire to wear things that not everyone else is wearing. I dont want to look exactly like that other girl at the bar except my shirt is in a different color. I want the clothes I wear to represent me, to make a statement and to stand out in a crowd!
Working on things for Sean's birthday, egh he is so hard to get gifts for.... but hopefully my ideas are good ones. I guess we will see in approximately one month. [ps. excited his friend, Nate aka Poncho is coming into town]
Sean & I dog sat Sierra & Murphy this weekend. They were A-DOR-ABLE!!! Made me miss having dogs around all the time, but I have to say that it also made me realize how nice it is not to have a dog too. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE DOGS!! But I there is just more to think about when you have a dog to care for all the time.
Ps. I really miss seeing my sister, Jordan practically every day....and not having my sister Bonnie and her two kids closer.
Well, need to get ready for a surprise birthday party! Catch up with you soon :)

Starting off...
--I read my friends blogs quite frequently... and so I have now decided that I want to ramble/vent about my life too.... maybe they will read mine like I read theirs
So, I have recently graduated from college, passed my state board exam, and only work 3 days a week..... which has left me a lot of time on my hands that I am not used to. Actually, it is going to sound weird... but i kind of hate it. Since, I feel like I sit on my butt a lot. Dont get me wrong, I love having time to myself and to relax.... but most of the time I want to be productive and do something with my life. I remember in highschool, I was SO involved that I barely had time to sleep. The thing was, I managed it and all those things that kept me so busy were awesome. They have left me with some great memories. SO... I have decided to make a change in my life and to push myself to be more productive/involved.
First thing I am going to start doing is joining a book club. Well, actually forming my own book club together. I love to read and so do some of my friends. (Aka. book club!) I'm excited! There are so many books that I want to read :)
Second, I am going to take on sewing. I know it sounds so old lady-ish and you might ask "who actually sews anymore?" Well, soon you can add my name to that list. Nursing scrubs are expensive. Plain and simple they shouldnt be...and I will not be spending my money on something that I can make for much cheaper. So that will be first thing I am going to learn how to sew, Navy blue scrubs for work.
Third, I want to learn how to cook/bake. I LOVE LOVE LOVE food. And enjoy it so much. But at this point in my life someone has always been cooking for me (aka. my daddy). Since, I have moved out I crave delicious meals.... but my lack of skills dont really turn out anything good. So, I am going to look into taking a cooking class somewhere.
Fourth, Due to my living location (downtown StL) I am going to be taking a self defense class. Just so that I feel better about my self, my boyfriend will let me go out alone at night, and because it is basic knowledge I feel like every girl should know.
