Sisters are Forever

Tonight, my sister and I got together to go bridesmaid dress shopping for her wedding after dinner. Which turned out to be a BIG FLOP since none of the store were open (they have the weirdest hours-fyi). We were both a bit disappointed about it since we were looking forward to it, but we still had an awesome night sitting at Starbucks chatting away. Our lovely night together doing nothing really made me miss my sister. We know each other so well and can tell each other everything! Kind of hate not living right across the hall from her so we can have more nights like tonight whenever.

Other news, Shell is coming this weekend and I couldnt be more EXCITED!!!! It is going to be epic! I can feel it. Good times are always had when I'm in the company of Shell :)

Checked out Eve's Apple Vintage on Sunday off Washington and it is just adorable! Such a variety of vintage clothing and accessories. I can really see myself shopping there quite often. I got this cute lace slip that I am going to work with and modernize it a bit, some black gloves and suspenders. I have to say my favorite thing is the suspenders! I have been looking for a pair for over a year now and finally found some! Yay!!!

Watch out world, I am baking my first cake this weekend! Due to 3 birthday celebrations we have (Sean, Shell, Nate) haha, should be quite interesting..... we will see how it turns out.

Cant wait for my Rory Ashton earrings & ring to come in! I'm sure that they will be more than adorable!

I found my BCBG dress that I want online at ebay. I was so excited since it was only $50. I was bidding on it and .... sad story I was out bid. :(

Loft Searching

Fact 1. Sean & I have to move out of our AWESOME loft at the end of May. yuck.
Fact 2.  This apartment has spoiled me! I want everything for the cheapest price possible and that just doesnt happen in downtown St Louis.
Fact 3. I hate moving!!! So I'm not incredibly excited about this whole process
Fact 4. A plus, is that two of my friends are moving downtown so I get to see them more often  :)


I am very excited for next weekend to get here, because Nate, Jordan, and Shell (Michelle) are coming to visit for Sean's birthday party. I am the most excited for Shell to come since I am the closet with her. Cant wait actually! Should be a good weekend, but also a lil crowded since there will be 5 people in our little apartment. lol. Sleeping arrangments should be fun!

Not that much new has been happening. Working a lot and it has been a lil rough because my patients have been pretty sick. But if they werent sick they wouldnt be at the hospital.

Investment Bag

So, I just finished reading The One Hundred  by Nina Garcia. It was a cute short read on different key pieces that should be included into your wardrobe. Excellent book for me now that I will really be building my style and wardrobe. My biggest want after reading this book is what she calls the "Investment Bag". The bag that you spend lots of $$ on but will last you FOREVER! My ideal bag is the LV speedy 30- Damier Azur.  ( http://www.cutehandbags.org/images/louis-vuitton-damier-azur-speedy-30.jpg ) This is what is called fashion love! All I can think about is how cute this bag would be with everything I own! But, it costs a pretty penny. Actually, it costs more like 4 arms and 3 legs. My "wants" are ridiculous to say the least!

Well, off to dinner with my dad.
