So, last Thursday was my birthday :) & my boyfriend surprised me by taking us to go get CHO (the shiba rescue puppy I wanted)!!!!!!!! I was absolutely surprised and ecstatic! We took Cho home and she is now part of our family AND we are in total love with her!!! She is adorable and getting used to her new home & family! But I think she already loves us :) We changed her name it Kaia; everyone says she looks like a lil fox! She is scared of stairs, so that is something we are working on. She is slowly meeting the rest of the extended family (my parents/sean's family + pets) and so far so good. She is really quiet and hasnt barked yet. I am about to take her to the vet -- get all checked out. I'm sure she wont think it is that much fun.
I'm SOOOOO EXCITED Kaia is in our lives! YAY!!

Who likes them anyway
Egh, I have to start paying my school loans back this month. YUCK!!!
NOT EXCITED!!!!!
Besides that, I have gotten in contact with the Shiba Inu Rescue group and I am going to see Cho (the puppy I want to rescue/adopt) on July 7/8. I'm VERY VERY EXCITED!!!! I hope that she likes us :)
Also, Sean and I have decided that if we do take her home, we are going to name her Kaia. I love it! Oh, I hope she likes us :)
My Birthday is on Thursday! Its my Golden Birthday. Saturday we will be celebrating at Ameristar and downtown St. Charles. Who is ready to have some fun and celebrate?? THIS GIRL!

Work, Work, Work
Egh, I have worked 6 out of the last 9 days -- & I'm ready for a break! So glad tonight is my last night for a couple of days!!!!!! I know that doesnt sound that crazy to most of you because the majority of society works 5 out of 7 days a week. But society doesnt work 13 or more hours a day. So in comparison; society works ~ 40 hrs a week.... while in the past nine days I have worked ~78 hrs.
Also, I miss seeing Sean. Our schedules havent coordinated since we got back from Vegas & so I just want to spend some time with my boyfriend. boo
So, the longer this whole rescue adoption is taking the more I think about how its kind of nice not to have that responsibilty-- especially if I want to go out with friends for the night or want to have an unplanned vaca. I know that I would love this little doggie SO MUCH! and would make my life work around it.... but i sometimes think twice about. If things dont work out with Cho Im not going to look for a doggie to add into my life.
Well, I need to shower and eat before work!!

The month of May
Sorry, its been so long! May was a very BUSY BUSY month for me.
We are all moved into our new apartment at West End City. We have painted the living room and bedroom. (Which I think both look great- Thanks Sean, Paige & Miguel for painting!) We have unpacked for the most part, but still have decorations to but up and just the place a bit more organized.
Went to Vegas over Memorial Day Weekend. It was a BLAST, of course! It's Vegas. We saw Mystere and Daniel Tosh while we were there. Both were good shows. Came home with an extra $33 in my wallet! YAY!
Currently in the process of trying to adopt a Shiba Inu named Cho. I have had my home visit and I'm just waiting for the organization to get back to me.
